Amaravati, February 01, 2026: Nandyal MP and TDP Deputy Floor Leader in Lok Sabha Byreddy Shabari strongly condemned derogatory remarks made by YSR Congress Party leader and former minister Ambati Rambabu against Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.

In a statement issued in Nandyal, Shabari said YSRCP leaders continue humiliating ruling party figures despite their electoral loss, risking law and order in the state.

The controversy erupted after Rambabu's comments in Guntur sparked outrage, leading to his arrest by Andhra Pradesh Police, an attack on his residence by TDP supporters, and widespread criticism from ruling coalition members.

Shabari urged TDP workers in her constituency to file complaints against Rambabu at all police stations. She stressed the need for opposition restraint to maintain peace.
