Amaravati, January 31, 2026: Revenue Minister Anagani Satya Prasad chaired a review at the Chief Commissioner of Land Administration office in Mangalagiri, issuing clear directives for Resurvey 2.0.

He emphasized that the exercise must eliminate errors entirely to restore confidence among farmers and landowners. A new Standard Operating Procedure extends the timeline to 140 days for thorough verification.

Officials are required to involve landowners at every step, display records for consent before finalising documents, and defer surveys if concerned farmers are absent.

The minister also called for prompt resolution of revenue grievances within the same month and stronger revenue clinics across districts. He instructed preparation of a comprehensive policy on 22-A land issues based on earlier discussions.
