Amaravati, January 31, 2026: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu declared Kuppam his constituency's "laboratory" for statewide progress, launching key education and tourism projects during a three-day visit.
Naidu inaugurated the Agastya Vidyachal Academy and a modern Teachers’ Training Centre designed to train 5,000 educators yearly in hands-on, scientific methods.
He laid foundations for a ₹10 crore learners’ accommodation expansion and a ₹2 crore multimedia Oberoi Visitors Centre.
In tourism, he opened a Heritage Village–Bouldering Park, 32 homestays, nine tent stays, and launched the ‘Discover Kuppam’ website to attract visitors from nearby Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Bengaluru. Additional ₹4 crore tourism works are planned via CSR funds.
