Amaravati, January 31: The two-day Anakapalli Utsav 2026 began on a vibrant note in Anakapalli district, part of the broader Visakha Utsav, organised by Andhra Pradesh Tourism.

Inaugurated by senior leaders including Assembly Speaker Chintakayala Ayyanna Patrudu and District In-charge Minister Kollu Ravindra, the event spotlighted the region's rich heritage at key spots like Kondakarla Ava the second-largest natural freshwater lake in India along with Mutyalammapalem Beach and other venues.

Crowds enjoyed boat rides on the lake, puppet shows, folk dances, and cultural programs. Creative tourism stalls featured Etikoppaka toys, wooden handicrafts, Savara paintings, pottery, block printing, and more.
