Amaravati, January 30, 2026: The Tirumala laddu ghee adulteration case has advanced to the trial phase with the submission of a detailed supplementary chargesheet to the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Court in Nellore.

The 670-page document, covering oral and documentary evidence plus material objects, follows a 15-month probe by the CBI-led Special Investigation Team (SIT).

It accuses 36 individuals including TTD officials, dairy experts, and suppliers from firms like Bhole Baba Organic Dairy of supplying around 68 lakh kg of synthetic ghee made from palm oil, vegetable oils, and additives instead of pure dairy fat between 2021 and 2024, valued at nearly ₹250 crore.
