Vizag, January 30: The four-day Araku Utsav kicked off in Alluri Sitarama Raju district's Araku Valley, drawing crowds to celebrate tribal heritage and natural beauty.
Inaugurated under the Visakha Utsav umbrella, the event features 35 art forms from across the state, live concerts including Shanari Band, singer Sunitha, and Ram Miriyala, plus a tribal fashion show.
Upgrades at Borra Caves, expanded homestays, and coffee experience centers boost local livelihoods, aligning with the "Jal-Jungle-Zameen" eco-focus. Andhra Pradesh eyes the east coast as a global tourism draw, with visitor numbers already surging to 7.2 million annually.
