Vijayawada, January 28, 2026: Former Chief Minister and YSR Congress Party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy sharply criticized the ruling TDP-led coalition, alleging it has fostered anarchy, widespread corruption, and a collapse in governance.

Speaking to party workers, he accused the administration of diluting or scrapping election promises such as the 'Super Six' and 'Super Seven' guarantees, engaging in opaque borrowing without transparency, and allowing malpractices in sectors like liquor, sand, and mining.

Jagan contrasted this with his prior tenure, where welfare commitments were met even amid the COVID-19 crisis, and highlighted direct beneficiary transfers worth billions.

He pointed to failures in education, healthcare, and agriculture, claiming institutions have weakened and vulnerable groups suffer from harassment and misuse of power. Jagan announced plans for a major statewide padayatra covering all 150 assembly constituencies as part of "YSRCP 2.0" to reconnect with people and expose these issues.
