Amaravati, January 27, 2026: A BJP leader in Vizianagaram district urged residents to tap into the Prime Minister Vishwakarma scheme for skill upgrades and business growth. Golagana Ramesh Yadav, president of the party's Backward Classes Association there, held an awareness event in Dasannapeta on January 26.

He pointed to benefits like collateral-free loans up to ₹3 lakh at 5% interest, aimed at carpenters, blacksmiths, goldsmiths, potters, masons, and other artisans.

The central scheme supports self-reliance through training, modern tools, and market links. In Andhra Pradesh, local programs continue to spread awareness, especially in rural areas.
