Vijayawada, January 27, 2026: Union Minister of State for Labour and Employment and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Shobha Karandlaje visited the iconic Sri Durga Malleswara Swamyvarla Devasthanam atop Indrakeeladri Hill.
Temple priests and officials gave her a warm welcome before she performed special prayers to the presiding deity, Kanaka Durga. Vedic scholars blessed her during the visit, and temple authorities presented a photograph of the goddess as a token of respect.
The stop came during her trip to Vijayawada for a regional conference on labour codes with officials from southern states and UTs.
