Amaravati, January 27, 2026: Exactly three years ago today, Telugu Desam Party general secretary Nara Lokesh launched Yuvagalam a grueling 3,132-km padayatra from Kuppam.
The 226-day march cut through 97 Assembly constituencies, braving extreme heat, heavy rains, and political hurdles including a long pause after Chandrababu Naidu's arrest.
Lokesh connected directly with over 1.5 crore people, collected thousands of petitions, and held hundreds of meetings focused on unemployment, women's safety, farmer woes, and governance failures under the previous regime.
