Amaravati, January 27, 2026: Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan described the historic Republic Day event in Amaravati as grand and symbolic of Andhra Pradesh's development push.

Held for the first time at the capital's Parade Grounds in Nelapadu, the celebrations featured 22 tableaux showcasing welfare schemes, infrastructure gains, governance reforms, and social progress.

Governor S Abdul Nazeer unfurled the national flag, with Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, Pawan Kalyan, ministers, judges, and land-donor farmers in attendance. Pawan Kalyan stressed the event reflected the state's vision and future goals, marking a key step in fulfilling Amaravati's promise as the people's capital.
