Amaravati, January 26, 2026: The United Teachers’ Federation (UTF) in Andhra Pradesh has appealed to teachers, parents, and local communities to work together and enrol every eligible child, especially those facing barriers, in government schools.

UTF leaders stress that state schools now feature better infrastructure and facilities, thanks to government support. This creates real opportunities for students to grow into responsible, skilled citizens ready for the future.

They argue that higher enrolment protects these institutions, safeguards teachers' jobs, and builds stronger teacher networks. The federation plans a statewide awareness and enrolment drive, with key activities set for February 1 and 8, 2026, including regional meetings and community outreach.
