Amaravati, January 26: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu chaired a Telugu Desam Parliamentary Party meeting at his Undavalli camp office, outlining clear directives for TDP MPs as the Budget session approaches from January 28 to April 2.
He stressed mobilising central funds for state development, urging MPs to engage directly with Union ministers and secretaries, actively debate in Parliament, and secure allocations during the budget presentation.
Top priorities include securing legal status for Amaravati through an upcoming Bill, completing Polavaram with pending ₹12,000 crore and aiming for a finish before Godavari Pushkarams in June 2027.
The Purvodaya scheme with ₹40,000 crore in planned works, special packages for North Andhra and Rayalaseema, Nallamala Sagar approvals without inter-state disputes, and infrastructure like a four-lane railway from Ichchapuram to Tada using railway funds.
Naidu emphasised firm presentation of Andhra's case on irrigation while avoiding controversies, and aligning with NDA goals nationally.
