Amaravati, January 26, 2026: Andhra Pradesh's coastal Konaseema district prepares for one of its most revered festivals at the ancient Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple in Antarvedi.
The celestial wedding (Kalyanotsavam) of the deity is set for January 28, followed by a grand chariot procession on January 29. On January 30, devotees will take sacred dips at the spot where the Godavari meets the sea, a spiritually charged site believed to wash away sins.
Authorities have deployed over 1,350 police personnel and issued crowd management guidelines to ensure smooth proceedings. The event attracts pilgrims from across the state and beyond, blending devotion with cultural tradition in this scenic river-mouth location.
