Amaravati, January 25, 2026: Visakha Utsav 2026 launched on January 24 at RK Beach in Visakhapatnam, marking a nine-day showcase of North Andhra's culture, adventure, and tourism.
Tourism Minister Kandula Durgesh inaugurated the event, launching helicopter rides over Rushikonda Beach for stunning aerial views of the coastline and hills.
The festival spans 20 venues across Visakhapatnam, Anakapalle, and Alluri Sitarama Raju districts, featuring over 500 events including paramotoring, scuba diving, parasailing, live concerts, folk performances, drone shows, and food festivals.
Backed by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, the initiative aims to attract over one million visitors, generate significant employment, support local artisans and MSMEs, and boost the regional economy with an estimated impact exceeding ₹500 crore.
