Amaravati, January 25, 2026: The YSR Congress Party has announced a 'Chalo Delhi' campaign following the murder of its Dalit activist Manda Salman in Pinnelli village, Palnadu district. Senior leaders, including Tirupati MP Maddila Gurumoorthy and former ministers, announced at a memorial event in the village.

They accused the ruling coalition of neglecting Dalit communities, allowing systemic discrimination, and failing to curb violence that has displaced over 300 families from the area due to fear.

The party demands a CBI investigation into the killing, strict punishment for those responsible, rehabilitation for affected families, and steps to restore peace. Earlier protests at the DGP office in Tadepalli highlighted police inaction.
