Amaravati, January 25, 2026: Health Minister Y Satya Kumar Yadav revealed plans to set up 13 more dialysis centres across Andhra Pradesh under the Prime Minister's National Dialysis Programme.

Two centres in tribal hospitals will launch services shortly, while the rest including sites in Railway Kodur (Tirupati district), Kondepi (Prakasam), Kovvur (East Godavari), Mydukuru (Kadapa), and Nandigama (NTR) are targeted for completion by April.

Tenders are already out for six other locations, and each new unit will feature five machines at a cost of about Rs 85 lakh per centre, totalling Rs 11.05 crore statewide.

Since the current government took office, 12 dialysis centres have become operational, pushing the total to 25 in under two years.
