Amaravati, January 25, 2026: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu reaffirmed that Amaravati will remain Andhra Pradesh's capital forever, with its development unstoppable despite past opposition.

He stressed no force can halt progress toward a world-class city, countering earlier claims that labelled the area a barren wasteland.

Naidu highlighted ongoing efforts to rebuild and expand infrastructure, tying the capital's revival to broader state goals like regional balance and sustainable growth.

He criticized previous governance for alleged mismanagement in key sectors, while pushing forward initiatives in urban cleanliness and major projects.
