Amaravati, January 24, 2026: Andhra Pradesh is now officially a ganja-free cultivation state, with no illegal cannabis crops reported anywhere in the region.
The Elite Anti-Narcotics Group for Law Enforcement (EAGLE), led by Inspector General Ake Ravi Krishna, credited coordinated action across police, Tribal Welfare, Agriculture, Revenue, and other departments for wiping out cultivation in tribal areas.
