Amaravati, January 23, 2026: Former minister and YSRCP leader Perni Venkataramaiah (Nani) hit out at the ruling NDA coalition, accusing it of distorting facts on the land survey and pattadar passbook initiatives launched during the YSRCP government.
Speaking to the media, he said the current administration has not conducted any fresh survey or issued new passbooks, instead merely reprinting old ones after erasing the previous Chief Minister's photograph to score political points.
Nani defended the YSRCP-era survey as a landmark, technology-driven effort the first comprehensive one in a century that delivered clear land titles to farmers through transparent methods. He criticised Revenue Minister Anagani Satya Prasad for misunderstanding the project's scale and hard work.
