Amaravati, January 23, 2026: Andhra Pradesh's emerging capital is finalising elaborate setups for its inaugural Republic Day parade, a milestone shift from past events in Vijayawada.

A 22-acre parade ground near Seed Access Road, opposite ministers' bungalows, will accommodate nearly 13,000 spectators. Rehearsals are underway, with special focus on a dedicated VIP gallery for local farmers who receive personal invitations.

Authorities have allocated 15 acres for VVIP/VIP parking and 25 acres for the public to ensure smooth access.

Inspections by key officials, including Municipal Administration Minister P. Narayana, confirm decorations, traffic plans, and security measures are advancing rapidly.
