Amaravati, January 22, 2026: Thousands of devotees joined the ‘Srirama Sobha Yatra’ in Kadapa on Thursday to celebrate the second anniversary of the Ayodhya Ram Temple consecration.

Organised by the Ayodhya Ram Mandir Seva Samithi, the procession started from the Anjaneya Swamy Temple at Apsara Circle.

A decorated chariot carrying a large image of Lord Ram moved through key routes adorned with saffron flags. The night before featured a ‘Sitarama Kalyanotsavam’ at the municipal grounds.

TDP polit bureau member R. Srinivasa Reddy and Kadapa MLA R. Madhavi Reddy launched the yatra by breaking a coconut. Participants offered harathi to the chariot while youth chanted ‘Jai Shri Ram’ with fervour.
