Amaravati, January 22, 2026: Andhra Pradesh has launched the 'Kisan Drones' mobile application, allowing farmers statewide to book drone-based services for pesticide spraying, fertilizer application, crop monitoring, and more.
Agriculture Director Manazir Jeelani Samoon announced the move during a field visit in Guntur district, where he reviewed digital crop surveys under the e-Crop app for the ongoing Rabi season.
The app brings convenience and transparency, enabling real-time booking, SMS alerts for confirmation, and access to subsidised machinery.
It ties into broader efforts like the Farmer Registry and schemes such as Annadata Sukhibhava, promoting balanced fertilizer use and soil health.
