Amaravati, January 22, 2026: Andhra Pradesh is positioning itself as a national leader in advanced technology and global investment, according to IT Minister Nara Lokesh during high-level engagements at the World Economic Forum in Davos.

He proposed a Global Delivery Centre in Visakhapatnam to Accenture, highlighting the city's strong infrastructure, talent pool, and focus on AI, cloud, and digital operations.

Lokesh also announced that the state will host South Asia’s most powerful quantum computer by July 2026 in the Quantum Valley Innovation District, in partnership with IBM and TCS.

This will drive research, skill development, and startup incubation in quantum technologies.
