Amaravati, January 21, 2026: The Andhra Pradesh government gears up for Visakha Utsav 2026, a nine-day festival starting January 24 and running through February 1.
Themed "Sea to Sky," it spans three districts Visakhapatnam for coastal ecology, Anakapalle for culture, cuisine, and MSMEs, and Alluri Sitarama Raju for tribal heritage and hill landscapes like Araku and Lambasingi.
Over 500 programs will unfold at more than 20 venues, featuring music, dance, traditional arts, adventure sports such as beach volleyball, boating, and cycling, plus competitions in rangoli, cooking, and kabaddi.
Organisers prioritise local youth and artists, expecting to generate around ₹500 crore in economic activity and create jobs for nearly 3,000 people. The inaugural event takes place in Visakhapatnam, with the finale in Anakapalle.
