Amaravati, January 20, 2026: Revenue Minister Anagani Satya Prasad emphasized that Re-Survey 2.0, guided by Union standards, restores farmer confidence by fixing inaccuracies from the earlier Re-Survey 1.0.

He noted over 7.5 lakh complaints arose from drone-heavy methods that caused boundary disputes and joint parcel issues, while the current rover-based approach, extended timelines (143 days for survey, 90 for ground-truthing), and blockchain integration prevent tampering.

Completed in 2,097 villages across three phases, work continues in 1,613 more during the fourth phase. Farmers receive notices for direct participation, with dynamic QR codes on secure passbooks linking to updated maps.
