Amaravati, January 20, 2026: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, speaking to Telugu NRIs from across 20 European countries during his Davos tour kickoff in Zurich, urged the diaspora to move beyond salaried roles and become entrepreneurs who generate employment.

He praised their global success and key role in recent elections, crediting their support for restoring the state's image swiftly. Naidu highlighted the ‘One Family–One Entrepreneur’ policy and suggested that in dual-employed couples abroad, one spouse could start a business in Andhra Pradesh.

He announced a Rs 50 crore AP NRI Corpus Fund to aid entrepreneurship and industrial projects, plus low-interest loans at 4% for overseas education.

The CM pointed to massive incoming investments ₹22 lakh crore that could create up to 20 lakh jobs, including major projects like ArcelorMittal’s steel plant and AM Green’s green ammonia initiative in Kakinada.

He also outlined plans for an ‘AP First’ research hub in Tirupati with IIT and IISER ties, plus focus on AI, quantum computing, drones, and green tech to drive future growth.
