Amaravati, January 20, 2026: The Andhra Pradesh High Court heard criminal revision petitions today challenging the Vijayawada Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Court's refusal to supply copies of closure orders and related records in cases against Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and others.

Filed by retired railway employee Yemu Kondala Rao, the pleas target verdicts on alleged irregularities in FiberNet and liquor policy matters from the prior YSRCP regime, cases closed as a "mistake of fact."

Justice Venkata Jyothirmayi queried the petitioner's standing as a third party and the intended benefit from obtaining the documents, noting that such access is not routine in criminal matters.

The ACB Court had denied copies citing case closure and the requester's non-involvement. Petitioner's counsel stressed the presence of Section 164 CrPC statements and evidence, seeking transparency on closure grounds. The CID's Additional Public Prosecutor opposed immediate disclosure and sought time to prepare details.
