Newsroom, January 20, 2026: Andhra Pradesh Energy Minister Gottipati Ravi Kumar reviewed temple infrastructure during a tour of Srisailam and Dornala regions on Tuesday.

He directed power department officials to start constructing a dedicated substation for the iconic Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy temple, citing the increasing flow of devotees and the need for uninterrupted supply to the shrine, pilgrim facilities, and lighting.

The minister also called for an underground cable system around the temple premises to improve safety, aesthetics, and devotee convenience.

Additional directives include completing related temple development works, chariot movement enhancements during festivals, and solar-powered electricity for nearby tribal hamlets within three months.
