Vizag, January 20, 2026: The Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (APERC) kicked off hybrid public hearings on January 20 to review retail supply tariff proposals for FY 2026-27 submitted by the state's power distribution companies (DISCOMs).
Chaired by APERC Chairman P.V.R. Reddy, the sessions aim to gather feedback from domestic users, farmers, industries, traders, and consumer groups on the Annual Revenue Requirement (ARR) filings.
Hearings run in Tirupati (January 20 at APSPDCL corporate office), Vijayawada (January 22-23 at Tummalapalli Kalakshetram), and Kurnool (January 27 at APERC office).
Morning in-person slots run 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with afternoon video conference from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Live streaming covers platforms like YouTube, Facebook, X, WhatsApp, and Telegram.
