Amaravati, January 19, 2026: Vikrama Simhapuri University (VSU) at its Kakatur campus in SPSR Nellore district inaugurated a national-level week-long workshop focused on R Programming and AMOS for data analysis and visualisation.
Organised by the Department of Tourism Management and Statistics with support from Pradhan Mantri Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (PM-USHA), the event equips students, researchers and faculty with essential modern tools for handling data effectively.
VSU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Allam Srinivasa Rao inaugurated the programme and stressed that strong skills in data analysis and visualisation are vital for success in research, industry and global job markets in the digital age.
In-charge Registrar Dr. K. Suneetha emphasised combining technical expertise with theoretical knowledge to sharpen analytical abilities.
