Guntur, January 19, 2026: The national SARAS Mela 2026 wrapped up in Guntur after a successful week, generating sales exceeding Rs 25 crore across 343 stalls run by women self-help groups.
Nearly 14 lakh people visited the fair, which featured handicrafts, handlooms, and local products from states including Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Jharkhand, Ladakh, and Kargil.
Union Minister of State for Rural Development Dr Pemmasani Chandrasekhar supported the event, which offered direct market access, skill training, and eliminated middlemen for DWCRA women.
