Amaravati, January 19, 2026: The Railway Protection Force (RPF) brought alive the spirit of India's freedom struggle through a vibrant live concert at Tirupati railway station today.
Starting at 6 p.m. in front of the station, RPF jawans performed renditions of six stanzas from "Vande Mataram" along with other national songs.
The performance, held under the guidance of senior officers from South Central Railway, drew passengers and locals into a shared wave of national pride and unity.
This local tribute in Andhra Pradesh echoes the nationwide year-long commemoration of the song composed in 1875 by Bankim Chandra Chatterjee, which fuelled the independence movement with its call to devotion for the motherland.
