Amaravati, January 18, 2026: Union Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu highlighted that strong connectivity across road, rail, water, and air modes holds the key to accelerating development in Srikakulam district.

Speaking at an event in Tilaru railway station where he flagged off the Brahmapur-Visakhapatnam Express and announced it as a new halt, the minister, also the local MP, stressed that these upgrades would drive economic progress in the northern Andhra region.

State Agriculture Minister Kinjarapu Atchannaidu, his uncle and Tekkali MLA, joined the event and pushed for further improvements, including upgrades at Harichandrapuram station.
