Amaravati, January 18, 2026: NTR district has launched Andhra Pradesh's first Rural Incubation, Skilling and Entrepreneurship (RISE) Centre at Guntupalli.

District Collector G Lakshmisha inaugurated the facility, which has been running since July and already helped around 1,000 women in Ibrahimpatnam mandal boost their incomes via product expansion and digital skills.

The centre offers free courses in computer literacy, MS Office and digital marketing to Self-Help Group women.

It supports mothers with nearby ICDS facilities and partners with groups like Ratan Tata Innovation Hub for better market access. Proposals seek ₹1.67 crore from NITI Aayog to scale operations, turning women into industrial entrepreneurs.
