Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu departs today for the World Economic Forum in Davos, leading a high-level team to pitch the state as a prime investment hub amid global talks on AI, sustainability, and growth.

Amaravati, January 18, 2026: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu leaves Vijayawada today for a four-day visit to the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland, running January 19-22.

Accompanied by ministers including IT and Electronics Minister Nara Lokesh, he will join over 30 engagements: one-on-one talks with global CEOs from IBM, Google Cloud, Nvidia, and others; panel discussions on AI's economic impact, climate finance, regenerative food systems, and infrastructure; and a CII session highlighting "India at the Centre of Geography Growth AP Advantage."

The trip aims to showcase Andhra Pradesh's strengths in technology, clean energy, semiconductors, and sustainable development while forging partnerships with leaders from the UAE, Israel, Switzerland, and major firms.

Naidu will also address a Telugu diaspora event in Zurich and give interviews to international outlets like CNBC and Politico.
