Amaravati, January 14, 2026: The Godavari belt in Andhra Pradesh pulses with Sankranti energy as East and West Godavari districts prepare for massive crowds over the three-day celebrations.

Hotels, lodges, resorts, and even luxury villas report almost 100% bookings from January 13 to 17, with tariffs doubling in many premium spots due to reservations from out-of-state visitors, urban families, and natives returning home.

Towns like Rajamahendravaram, Bhimavaram, Kovvur, and Narsapuram see the heaviest influx, driven by the region's iconic rural traditions and improved connectivity.
