Amaravati, January 13, 2026: South Central Railway (SCR) is running multiple special trains to manage the heavy rush of passengers heading home or to celebrations during Sankranti in Andhra Pradesh.

Key services include routes from Cherlapalli to Kakinada Town, Tirupati, and Anakapalli, as well as Visakhapatnam to Vijayawada, with stops at major hubs like Guntur, Rajahmundry, Eluru, and Bhimavaram. These trains feature AC, sleeper, and general coaches to offer comfortable options.

SCR has deployed additional specials on dates like January 14–19, focusing on crowd management, station safety, and vigilant boarding.
