Amaravati, January 13, 2026: The Andhra Pradesh government has mandated that all citizen services shift to the Manamitra WhatsApp platform, emphasizing data-driven and seamless delivery.

IT and Real Time Governance Secretary Bhaskar Katamneni issued the directive during a review meeting in Vijayawada, chaired by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. While most services already integrate online, remaining manual processes must move immediately to ensure uninterrupted citizen access.

The platform, built in partnership with Meta and launched in early 2025, now handles hundreds of services across departments from certificates and bills to grievances and transport bookings.

Officials are preparing 98 AI-based use cases for rollout by end of April, with departments encouraged to request custom features. District collectors will drive grassroots awareness to boost adoption.
