Amaravati, January 10, 2026: Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan issued a firm warning during the launch of Sankranti celebrations in Kakinada, directing district officials and police to take strict action against anyone inciting riots or unrest in the name of religion, caste, or race.
He stressed that no one, including high officials stands above the law, emphasizing zero tolerance for law and order breaches.
The statement follows reports of social media misuse to inflate minor school disputes in Pithapuram his constituency, into caste controversies for views.
Pawan Kalyan criticised such tactics, especially ahead of the harvest festival, which he said should unite all communities like Onam in Kerala. He called for responsible politics to preserve peace and harmony across Andhra Pradesh.
