Amaravati, January 11, 2026: Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and actor Pawan Kalyan has been formally inducted into Kenjutsu, the classical Japanese art of swordsmanship.

This prestigious recognition celebrates over three decades of disciplined practice, deep research, and commitment to samurai traditions.

The honour follows earlier achievements, including Fifth Dan rank from Sogo Budo Kanri Kai and becoming the first Telugu-speaking person inducted into the Takeda Shingen Clan under Soke Muramatsu Sensei a distinction rarely given outside Japan.

He also received the "Tiger of Martial Arts" title from the Golden Dragons organisation. Trained under expert Hanshi Professor Dr. Siddiq Mahmoodi in Kendo, Pawan Kalyan has long blended martial arts into his films and public life.
