Amaravati, January 10, 2026: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu declared the TDP-led coalition government's firm resolve to bring campuses of the world's leading universities to Amaravati.

Speaking at the golden jubilee of the Siddhartha Academy in Vijayawada, he pointed to the capital's existing private powerhouses VIT, SRM, and Amritha as strong foundations. The government stands ready to take every step needed to realize this vision, he stressed.

Naidu tied the push to broader tech ambitions, announcing a quantum computer operational in Amaravati within six months and full-scale quantum manufacturing in four years. He envisioned Vijayawada, Guntur, Mangalagiri, and Amaravati as one of India's most livable urban clusters, advancing toward a "Swarna Andhra" by 2047.
