Amaravati, January 09, 2026: European Union Ambassador to India Hervé Delphin commended Andhra Pradesh's strong economic progress and vibrant spirit, stating it positions the state as a key investment hub.

He spoke at the inauguration of the three-day Amaravati Avakaya Festival in Vijayawada on January 8, calling the event a lively blend of heritage, arts, and community that reflects the state's energy.

Delphin noted this dynamism deeply resonates with EU interests in trade, innovation, and partnerships.

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu welcomed the envoy and emphasized preserving Telugu culture through such festivals while promoting Andhra's global cuisine appeal. He highlighted the state's hospitality strengths, with many Andhra natives excelling in international food sectors.
