Amaravati, January 07, 2026: Sri Sathya Sai district police flagged off GPS-equipped vehicles for clue teams in Dharmavaram, equipping them with modern tools for fingerprinting and gathering physical and technical evidence.

These vehicles, backed by the state government and DGP’s office, will run round the clock with trained teams to reach even remote villages quickly.

The move aims to cut delays in evidence collection, preserve crucial forensic clues, and raise conviction rates through stronger scientific policing.

Superintendent of Police S. Satish Kumar led the initiative, emphasizing its role in enhancing rapid response and overall investigation quality in Andhra Pradesh's evolving law enforcement landscape.
