South Central Railway will run a special train to help devotees reach the Deeni Ijtema in Kadapa district, with a stop in Nandyal for local convenience.

Amaravati, January 07, 2026: South Central Railway has arranged a special train service for attendees of the upcoming Deeni Ijtema, set to take place at Kopparthy in Kadapa district starting January 23.

Nandyal MP Byreddy Shabari announced that Train No. 07140 will run from Cherlapalli in Telangana to Tiruchanur near Tirupati, departing January 22 and halting at Nandyal around 5:30 a.m. after stops including Nizamabad, Warangal, Vijayawada, and Guntur. It continues to Kadapa before reaching the end point.

The return Train No. 07141 leaves Tiruchanur late on January 25, arriving at Nandyal around 6:50 a.m. Shabari thanked railway officials for the route, noting it eases travel for people from Nandyal and the surrounding Kurnool areas to the religious gathering.
