Vijayawada, January 06, 2026: Andhra Pradesh BJP president P.V.N. Madhav led a Janata Varadhi programme at the NTR District Collectorate to connect citizens directly with officials and address their concerns.
The event saw locals submit complaints, mainly about lands frozen under Section 22-A of the Registration Act and delays in proper registrations, causing major hardships.
Madhav handed over a memorandum to Sub-Collector S. Ilakkiya and assured swift resolution, especially on Revenue Department matters.
He spotlighted rising pollution in Vijayawada and the government's push against drugs. The BJP chief described the initiative as a bridge between people and the administration, noting similar drives across district headquarters.
He promised expansion to mandal levels soon under the coalition government's responsive “WhatsApp Governance” approach.
