Udayagiri MLA Kakarla Suresh rejected claims by a woman over unpaid salary and a promised MLA ticket, calling it a YSRCP-backed plot to damage his reputation. He plans to brief Chief Minister Naidu soon.
Amaravati, January 04, 2026: Udayagiri MLA Kakarla Suresh of the Telugu Desam Party held a press conference in Nellore to strongly deny allegations from a woman named Vengamamba.
She accused him of withholding salary for work she did and failing to nominate her for an MLA seat in the 2029 elections. The claims stem from an October 2025 incident in Vijayawada where she allegedly entered his hotel room and tried to record videos.
Suresh dismissed the accusations as baseless and ridiculous. He said he only helped her secure a short-term Anganwadi worker role for about three months and that no official post like "Anganwadi coordinator" exists.
