Amaravati, January 04, 2026: Health Minister Y Satya Kumar Yadav announced a sharp rise in the Dr NTR Vaidya Seva scheme's utilisation under the NDA government.

Monthly expenditure climbed 60 per cent to an average of ₹310 crore, up from ₹193 crore in the prior administration, adding roughly ₹2,124 crore annually.

Beneficiaries grew 21 per cent, from 96,205 to 1,16,624 patients per month. Over 19 months, the government has spent ₹6,530 crore 56 per cent of the previous regime's full five-year outlay.
