Amaravati, January 03, 2026: Andhra Pradesh Assembly Speaker Chintakayala Ayyanna Patrudu inaugurated the third World Telugu Conference at Sri Sathya Sai Spiritual City near Amaravati, declaring Telugu the cornerstone of a vibrant culture and a true way of life.

He stressed that the language weaves through customs, festivals, and shared identity, binding communities in Andhra Pradesh and beyond.

he Speaker voiced concern over youth drifting from traditions once mothers taught by pointing to the moon, now screens often take their place.

He praised late N.T. Rama Rao for elevating Telugu globally and pushed for mother-tongue education in early years, asking scholars to propose steps for language growth.
