Amaravati, January 03, 2026: KL Deemed to be University hosts the South Zone All India Inter-University Men’s Badminton Tournament, a key qualifier for the national inter-university championships.

The event runs for three days at the university's international-standard indoor stadium in Vijayawada, complete with top facilities, accommodation, meals, and medical support for all athletes.

Around 900 shuttlers from 128 universities across southern and other states compete, showcasing emerging talent in men's badminton.

Chairman of the Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh, A. Ravi Naidu, joins the inauguration, highlighting the state's push for youth sports development.
